Asian Pacific Partners for Empowerment, Advocacy and Leadership (APPEAL) will be hosting its 17th Anniversary Fundraising Dinner, entitled Leading with Heart: Health Justice for AA and NHPI Communities, on June 23rd in San Francisco, California. This event will celebrate the successes achieved by APPEAL, Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AA and NHPI) communities, and partner organizations over the last 17 years in tobacco control and food and active living policy.

From Highway 101 north, exit at 7th street. Turn right on Folsom street, then left on 5th street. Cross Market street and turn left on Ellis street to Mason Street. Garage entrance is on 222 Ellis Street between Mason & Taylor Streets.

Ground Transportation:
BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit)
Take the AirTrain to the Garage G/BART Station stop. AirTrain is a free service. You will need to purchase an $8.10 ticket at the BART Fare Machine. Board a Pittsburg/Bay Point bound train and get off at Powell Street, which is the 10th stop from SFO. The train ride from station to station is approximately 30 minutes. Super Shuttle

Taxi
The fare for taxi service between the airport and the hotel is approximately $45 and the travel time is approximately 30 minutes. Both are dependent on traffic, time of day and day of the week.
PARKING INFORMATION:
Hotel parking is available for our event for a flat rate of $25/day. Please ask APPEAL staff at the registration table for a special sticker for your parking ticket. Without the sticker, the parking costs are $16/hour. Garage entrance is at 222 Ellis Street between Mason & Taylor Streets.
