Asian Pacific Partners for Empowerment, Advocacy and Leadership (APPEAL) is a national health justice organization working to achieve health equity for Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, Pacific Islanders and other underserved communities.

• CALL FOR PAPERS: APPEAL in collaboration with Society of Public Health Education (SOPHE) will publish a supplemental journal of Health Promotion Practice entitled "Tobacco Control Promising Practices to Eliminate Tobacco Disparities among Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander Communities." The manuscript deadline has been extended to JUNE 1, 2012.


• The LAAMPP III Institute will run September 2012 through March 2014. For more information, please see the flyer. To apply, please complete the following application. The deadline to apply is Friday, June 15, 2012 at 7:00pm Central.
